What the heck is a “Woobie”?
I often get asked this question and I answer in a number of ways.
1.In relation to my real name
“Woobie” is the way you would pronounce my real name (Ruby) when you’re either French or you’re very tipsy. And, “Woobie” is the way I would pronounce my name when I’m trying to speak French or when I’m very tipsy.

3. Woobie, according to the Urban Dictionary
- “Woobie” is an endearment (like “baby”). It’s also something we hug when we’re lonely.
- A softie who hides behind a callous exterior. (Yeah, that is soooo me!)
- Something very precious and snuggly, like a bunny wunny or baby bankie.
- Something or someone that makes you want to hug him/it/her, or is cute in a sad way. (”I cant stand it when he cries, he is SUCH a woobie!”)
