A Twisted Girl’s Take on Love, Dating and Zodiac Signs

On Valentine’s - the Anti-Apathy Post

It’s two days to D-Day! Excited yet? As a fan of Valentine’s, I acknowledge that people worldwide make a fuss about this occasion. Some even feel the need to rant about it and just murder the occasion (see Linc’s Blog). Undeniably, this event brings out emotion from people, whether it be angst or mushiness, loneliness or glee, warmth or coldness… hate or love. This post is not for those who hate Valentine’s, it’s for those who are apathetic to it.

Wakey up, it’s almost February 14! The day of lovers. The day that the only ones who won’t get some will be the hotel attendants and the waiters who are unlucky enough to work the shift during this day of lovin’. It’s a worldwide affair so why not join in?

Bash the occasion, create blog contests centered on bashing it, ask someone out on a date, join a dating site (if you don’t have anyone to celebrate it with), chat with someone you’ve been meaning to talk to for months now, don’t nag your boyfriend/girlfriend for 24 hours… whatever rocks your boat… just do something special on Valentine’s.

Is it overrated? Maybe! But that you think so means you have rated it in your mind, and that you are at least aware of its import. Have fun!

Love Story Contest Second Update

This is the second weekly update of the Share Your Love Story Contest here at Evilwoobie’s blog. If you missed the first batch you can view that post here. On February 7, when the contest ends, I will post every single entry so that you, dear readers, will comprehend the magnitude of the decision that I and the other sponsors will make.

Here’s the second batch of bloggers who shared their love stories…

My Mad House  - Claire

Intiendes - Junelle

He Said Yes - JAG

My Love Journey -Dee

February is Gone -Topher

Final Post - Redkinoko

I don’t know what I got myself into… picking the one love story that stands out among the rest will be so difficult as all of these stories made me laugh, weep and feel with the writers.

Thank you.
