How to enjoy your holidays more
The holidays are almost here! Here are some early planning tips for you to maximize the fun of the season and lessen the hassle.
1. Get your parties catered
Moms and helpers (as well as nice, helpful kids) can be seen bustling around the house during the last minute of the eves of Christmas and New Year. If you’ve tried preparing forholiday meals, you will know how tedious it is and how you feel too tired to participate in the festivities later on. Contacting a good caterer to prepare food for your parties is still the best option for those who want to sit back, relax and enjoy.
2. Wrap your gifts as early as the first day of December
If you haven’t done this already, you’d better start now. People with money (employee bonuses, hooray!) are flocking to malls searching for good finds to give their god children and relatives. By the time you get around to doing it, at the last minute, the best toys/items are gone.
3. Hold the splurging
Before you splurge that holiday bonus, keep in mind everything that you’re obligated to pay, like credit cards. Better yet, before the end of November hits, your target must be to be done with all debts so you’re cards are fresh for the big splurge!
4. Feed your spirit
Christmas is commercialized, but that doesn’t mean it has to be that way too for your spirit. Take time to reflect on the message of Christmas, and encourage your family to do the same!
Enjoy!
