A Twisted Girl’s Take on Love, Dating and Zodiac Signs

I Love Cosplay!

When was the last time you donned a costume for a party? Were you afraid you’ll look silly? How about if you attended a consortium event with thousands of people wearing costumes, won’t you feel sillier if you’re not wearing one? My love for cosplay goes way back. I remember attending parties with Matrix and Matrix Reloaded themes, meeting ‘Neo’ in the flesh along with a lot of Mr. Smith and Trinity; and attending Pokemon events with my boyfriend where Ash Catchem approached to greet us in various heights and ages.

Roleplaying is a culture that spans generations. When a certain movie, anime or online RPG game is hot, you can expect children begging parents to help them create costumes, or parents themselves donning costumes and volunteering to partake in cosplay projects with their kids. It’s an expression of one’s appreciation for a genre. It’s a culture that brings people closer.

For girls who have a gamer boyfriend, it’s safe to bet that he will appreciate you dressing up as his favorite RPG character every once in a while. And they’re not at all bad looking (check out FFVIII’s pretty Rinoa Heartilly). You can roleplay as Rinoa during a date, then ask him to take you dancing. If he’s a true-blue FFVIII fan, he might just agree!

Cosplay dresses and attires aren’t too difficult to find, as a whole world of business has been dedicated to sating fan’s desires for events revolving around their favorite RPGs. More cosplay and Halloween costumes for kids and adults are available at my sponsor’s site
Moon Costumes.com. While you’re there, help me decide which character to cosplay as next. I’m torn between Beatrix Kiddo and her nemesis GoGo, from Kill Bill movie. :-D
