This could be the reason why Archie Andrews is marrying Veronica Lodge instead of Betty Cooper. Sigh. It breaks my heart but I can understand why someone like Archie chose queen bitch Veronica over Miss Goody-Two-Shoes Betty. Although my first reaction was “hah, the guy chose to marry money!”, the romantic in me still believes his decision to propose to Ronnie is related to his emotional needs, not his financial needs (note: I think the Archie comics writers are EVIL).
