I Heart John Cow Dot Com

Yes, you read the title right; said in the unique, quirky way we Pinoys invented. The same blog that I pouted at in the past because of the bratty way the owner viewed the system in my favorite social network (Entrecard) is now one of my favorite blogs.

That is, it’s the same blog, but the management has changed… in a radical way.

Now, I visit the blog and read their posts in my mail for a different reason… to actually be better at this blogging thing. See, the new Cow management took their herd of followers seriously. Their keyword tips and google analytics analysis are in my bookmarks. They’re good.

Recently, the new owners held a contest and made people guess who they are, i.e. their other endeavors in the blogosphere… I took a guess, and I GUESSED RIGHT!!! Here’s the rationale behind my guess….

I guessed DealDotCom because:

• they both give away prizes, which is a hit among all contest-loving bloggers, and
• their main writer LOVES movies, he mentions movie lines and situations on both johncow.com posts and dealdotcom promotions. One particular favorite is Jerry Maguire, which I love too! (hint: an introduction with a movie line will get me reading the rest of the article)

So I won a prize, it’s not the Kindle (which won’t work outside Canada and the USA anyway), but it’s a nice prize nonetheless. A banner show at JohnCow’s for a month! Here’s the banner….
