Final List of Entries: Share Your Love Story Contest
This is the final list of entries to my first ever blog contest! All of these entries are good, and I must say, there’s a lot of love out there in the world and we are all very lucky to get a glimpse of how it worked its magic on these people.
I did not state my personal criteria for judging the entries initially because I did not want to influence the writing of the contestants. I wanted you all to write from the bottom of your hearts, so that this becomes less of a competition and more of a genuine sharing of something beautiful.
Criteria vary from judge to judge, and mine are:
1. Uniqueness – What makes the story special? What makes it stand out amidst the multitudes of re-hashed love story plots that we watch on TV or in the movies?
2. Delivery – Is it readable in such a way that the reader could follow the story without getting confused by grammatical errors or typos?
3. Empathy value – Does the story evoke emotion in the reader?
