My World Got Bigger: The Evil Woobie Link Love I

I have been linked to a lot this past month, and it’s time to give a lot of love back. I’ve found that my world has expanded ever since I met people who shared my passion for blogging. This post is where link love pours like rain from the sweet, ample bosom of the Evil Woobie.

1. The SEO professional who knows what he’s talking about

Technet SEO is a company I found through Entrecard that offers search engine optimization for websites. Being ignorant to all things SEO before I met Technet SEO’s Rob, I worried at how searches from daily internet traffic will find me. The tips he shared with me increased my traffic from search engines tremendously. He is very transparent with his explanations, and more importantly, very patient and considerate with the SEO-ignoramus Woobie who asks a hundred questions all at once. No matter if you’ve been maintaining a site for a year or just a few weeks, investing on the service of an effective and honest SEO specialist such as Technet SEO is the best move you can make for your blog.

2. The Vegetable that nourishes geeky brains

Turnip was just a vegetable to me until I met TURNIP OF POWER, the reigning champion of all vegetables in the blogging world. His ideas are refreshingly original and has none of the BS-ey attitude that oftentimes goes hand in hand with internet marketing. His opinions are sprinkled with wit and humor. I admit to holding my breath in a forum discussion until it’s his turn to speak, because i know that he will not only inform me, but entertain me as well. He has a techie side to his root-y nature, too, and he blogs about it here.

3. The ‘Other’ Entrecard Forum

If you’ve been observant of the changes in my sidebar, you’ll notice that there’s a link there to a forum called Fawnzy.com. It is a friendly community of Entrecard users who share their stories inside a forum environment. This is the best place for Entrecarders to get to know each other, as the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Not everyone knows about this forum, and I’m helping spread the word, because it’s great!

4. A blog I wish I owned

Silent Screams is one of the newest members in Entrecard, but I must say, I am drawn to it like bee to honey. A part of me wept with recognition upon browsing the blog. My deep need to release my creativity like this blogger does became more poignant as I read the beautiful poetry this blog contained. May she continue to write the way she does, because I am now a big fan.

5. A site I absolutely MUST link to

Why? Because Darkside Dreaming is the first site that used and appreciated my first ever attempt at blogging wittycism! I was discussing the “entrecard quitting” of some blogging personalities when a word just came to me… BLEGO. He was nice enough to credit me for it, and to return the linky love, I’m linky loving him back. It stands for ‘blogging ego’, which I see quite often these days!

6. The Malaysian Phenomenon called ‘GBGB’

Good Boy Gone Bad is a blog I frequent because of 1. the photoshop magic that this blogger wields, and 2. the funny articles and issues he dishes out. You simply must visit Ced if you want to be entertained, but be warned that he uses quite a lot of F-words and S-words and B-words. If you are easily offended by these words, you must find a way to tune them out because you still need to visit this site to witness the creations and thoughts of a very young genius. Learn from him, respect him!
