Game Development as a Separate Course in RP Schools?

woobie on November 2nd, 2007What do you think of this? A course that you can take up in a prestigious university (read Ateneo de Manila’s plans in this direction) that will be directly related to your gaming passion (*cough* addiction)?
Pinoys have been excelling in different games created abroad, which are being franchised in the RP by gaming companies. We are indeed very qualified to put up such a curiculum. This will enable programmers and IT professionals to pursue something that is not only fun, but also challenging. High school grads and learning-addicts will take up this course for sure.
Then you can justifiably talk back to your parents when they nag you about too much computer gaming: “Mom, I’m studying!!!”
