Tournament Players:

The rarest breed of gamers, will give a huge amount of their time to learn and relearn the game, hone their skills, study plays and most of all deal with the pressures of competition. What sets these tournament players above the fray of ordinary gamers is their willingness to submit themselves to the rigors of strict team playing. Like soldiers, they follow orders obediently, they give their hearts and souls in battle, and they practice the spirit of sportsmanship (which is not easy in the gaming world due to the taunts and what-not).

In my book, a tournament-class gamer is the most hardcore, most flexible and most reliable kind. The pure breeds. The elite class, because not everyone is faced with the challenge of excellence and prevails.

With the Ragnarok Philippines Championship looming in the horizon, it’s nice to get to know some of the people we are rooting for. Let’s get to know some of the people who were given the task of battle, whose shoulders carry the hopes of entire guilds, factions, servers and even a country.

Being a Baldur citizen myself, the first people I’m going to feature are those from the 3 representatives of my server in the upcoming RPC.
