Truth be told, there lives a jealous b*tch in even the gentlest softie.

What happens when a girl friend you have been very close to reveals that at one point in the past, you shared the same guy? Do you get jealous for something that you can do nothing about anymore? Do you feel jealous secretly? Or do you laugh about it and say it’s all in the past?

It may have happened in the past but it’s new to you. On goes the memory wheel and the certain vague events that happened are suddenly clear. So that’s why they seemed close. THAT’s why he had to go right after that movie, he was going to her!

There is a certain voice that says “how dare you!”. It’s laughable, really. Admittedl, you don’t feel anything for that guy anymore, but the possession, the thought that he personally belonged to you is still there.

Then you feel foolish for being jealous over something that is obviously undoable. You forgive your friend, though she’s not apologizing. You forgive the guy for playing you. And you forgive yourself for being clueless.

Life goes on.
